Chef demonstrates left over recipes

23 November 2009 - Popular community chef Olly Dawson is giving free demonstrations and tastings in Newhaven on Saturday 28th November and all are welcome.

In his own relaxed style, chef Olly Dawson will show how to cook left over foods and turn them into attractive meals. The audience can judge for themselves as the makings will be shared out for people to sample.

During the demonstrations there will be other tips on cutting out food waste and saving money in the kitchen.

The event is at The Engineer, Railway Road, Newhaven from 10am until 12 noon and is the second Saturday morning hot drinks and hot topic arranged at the pub by the Eastside Challenge.

This is a project that aims to reduce waste in the neighbourhood to zero.
