The Lewes District Local Plan is a document that sets out what we plan to do with land in the district and how we will control development. It guides most of our day-to-day planning decisions.
We explain why did the Council need to ask the Secretary of State to 'save' the Policies of the Lewes District Local Plan.

Faber Maunsell (now known as Aecom) was commissioned to produce the Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for the district.
