Landlords invited to discussion forum

Door entry panelWe are inviting landlords to attend a housing forum with helpful discussions from key speakers at Newhaven Enterprise Centre.

Landlords are invited to attend the forthcoming Landlords’ Forum held by our Housing Needs department.

The event will take place at Newhaven Enterprise Centre on Thursday, 11 March 2010 from 6pm to 8pm and feature advice and guidance from guest speakers.

We’d like to encourage landlords and other interested groups to attend this annual event, to listen to housing advice and discuss relevant topics.

The forum continues to grow in popularity and helps us gain invaluable feedback from those we are here to help. 

A series of presentations will be made during the evening. They include a guide to Homes in Multiple Occupation licensing, delivered by our Environmental Health team.

The National Landlord Association will discuss how landlords can end a tenancy and regain possession of their property.

Our Housing Benefit team will provide an update on benefits issues, including Local Housing Allowance and there will be an introduction to the Landlord Accreditation Scheme.

All landlords, agents and other interested organisations are welcome to attend. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. While people can turn up on the night, it is requested a place is confirmed in advance.
