Landport Residents' Community BBQ

The annual Landport Resident Association barbeque was held on Eridge Green on the evening of 16 July 2010.

Residents of Landport Estate enjoyed music, tug of war, egg and spoon races, bouncy castle and free burgers, sausages and non-alcoholic drinks.

Debbie Twitchen, Chair of the Landport Residents Association said: “We would like to thank everyone who turned up and made this such a successful event. 

"Our sincere thanks goes to Landport Stores, who once again sponsored this event, without their continued support we would not be able to run the event.

"We would also like to thank Andy Chequers, Shelley Collins, Ruth Tahsin and Sue Wells from Lewes District Council who helped on the day, as well as the residents from the estate that gave their time freely to ensure that the event ran smoothly”
